“I based this fragrance around a peony granita to accentuate its sparkling, zesty dimension. Peonies gradually unfurl and blossom day after day, opening their petals. Their closed buds are poised to reveal a floral symphony of colours, and it is this unpredictable blossoming that particularly inspired me.”

The intention
“To create this perfume, I drew on the stunning Tuscan countryside as my inspiration, more specifically the cypress trees that stand proudly on the hills around Siena. Caressed by sunshine, they assert their strong personality whilst refreshing the surrounding countryside. I have always been fascinated by the sacred cypress tree.”
